Welcome to ‘This Year Next Year: Interaction 2012.
As ever this report is not an attempt to provide a timeline of the events of the previous year; in the final week of writing this paper, Google+ for Business was launched, Microsoft, Yahoo! and AOL announced their display advertising partnership and GroupOn executed its Initial Public offering. Instead our goal is to offer perspective on the state of the increasingly digital media landscape and how change is impacting the media and consumer behavior and to draw some implications for the world’s largest advertisers.
